Storytelling Tapestry
For hundreds of years, people have recorded and shared their stories through pictures, the Bayeux Tapestry being an iconic example.
There’s something so special about reducing these often complex narratives down into a simple, recognisable form.
Forget the battlefield, in this 90 minute workshop we’ll be telling our own uplifting stories through the medium of paint, paper, pastel and crayon.

Who: Suitable for anyone, complete beginners to experienced artists. Ages 17+
What to bring: We’d encourage you to bring whatever media you enjoy using to these workshops, and a big pile of paper. If you’d like a little more direction, here’s what I usually use:
Caran d’Ache Luminance Pencils
Caran d’Ache Neopastel Oil Pastels
Caran d’Ache Gouache Red Palette
A2, A3 and A4 papers
How: When you purchase this workshop, you will automatically be emailed a PDF which contains instructions including a Zoom invite to the Live Workshop.
The PDF also contains the password for accessing the workshop recording, which will be uploaded to this website in the days following the workshop.
This means that you’ll be able to follow along as many times as you like. Please allow up to a week for us to edit and upload the workshop.
The workshop lasts 90 minutes.
