Sunday 28th February 2027
10am-3pm
Emily Powell Studio, Ullacombe Farm, Haytor Road TQ13 9LL
Nothing quite lifts me out of winter quite like those first signs of springs with snowdrops and daffodils, tulips and crocuses. In this day workshop in my Dartmoor studio, we’ll celebrate this glorious first signs of spring with a cosy day of painting and drawing centred around capturing the colourful joy of spring bulbs.
We’ll start with some warm-up exercises to help you loosen up and get to know each other, before working on a series of other pieces using a variety of mediums and finish with a final piece.
There’s also a great cafe on site for our lunch break, or you can opt to bring a packed lunch. All materials are provided, you just need to bring yourself and clothes you don’t mind getting painty!
Full joining instructions are emailed out to attendees at the beginning of the week of the course.
Accessibility: All abilities, all ages, all welcome with open arms and paint-splattered aprons.
