Painting To Feel Good IN-PERSON Workshop - Saturday 27th Feb 2027
Saturday 27th Feb 2027
10am-3pm
Emily Powell Studio, Ullacombe Farm, Haytor Road TQ13 9LL
Painting is so much more than the act of applying paint to paper or canvas - it’s about how it makes you feel, and in turn your paintings can affect how you and others feel when you enjoy them on your wall. It may be the depths of winter on Dartmoor, but in my cosy barn studio we’ll be exploring all the different ways you can paint to make yourself feel good.
We’ll start with some warm-up exercises to help you loosen up and get to know each other, before working on a series of other pieces using a variety of mediums and finish with a final piece.
There’s also a great cafe on site for our lunch break, or you can opt to bring a packed lunch. All materials are provided, you just need to bring yourself and clothes you don’t mind getting painty!
Full joining instructions are emailed out to attendees at the beginning of the week of the course.
Accessibility: All abilities, all ages, all welcome with open arms and paint-splattered aprons.
