Wild Cornish Air

Late September 2026

A few days painting on the rugged coast of West Penwith - the very tip of Cornwall - was just what the doctor ordered at the end of a very busy summer. September light in West Cornwall is something else, and when the fields and rocky coastline weren’t bathed in the most glorious golden light, the thick rolling sea mist challenged me in a way I haven’t been before. It was truly magical.

This collection is a love letter to this much underrated part of Cornwall, where sleepy coves are hidden down steep-sided valleys, fields of cows graze peacefully beside spectacular coast roads and there’s a whole new jaw-dropping vista around every corner of the coast path.
